The short version: no user account is required. We process the information you submit to create the comparison and any additional content you request. We also process limited feedback, purchase or redemption, operational, and security information so the service can work and be supported. Information you submit may be processed on or beyond your device, but only as needed to provide the service features you request.
What we process
- Information you submit — nickname, age range, optional identity choice, relationship context, answers, and completion information. No email, phone number, or legal name is required for the quiz, but free-text fields can contain whatever you choose to type.
- Results and requested content — comparison scores and text, generated written content, conversation messages and replies if you use that feature, and completion state.
- Feedback and contact details — a rating, message, time, and any email or handle you choose to provide so we can review or reply. To tell genuine feedback apart from automated or duplicate submissions, we also record the broad region the submission came from, an irreversible short code derived from network information (which cannot be turned back into a network address, and changes periodically), whether it was sent from our own pages, and how long the form was open.
- Purchase or redemption information — limited information needed to deliver a purchase, prevent repeated redemption, and resolve purchase-related support requests.
- Operations and security information — limited activity, usage, network, and security data used to operate the service, measure basic reliability, prevent abuse, and protect the private dashboard.
- Information kept on your device — quiz progress, private access links, language preference, and a feedback-rating marker may be kept so you can resume or avoid repeating an action. These items currently have no automatic local expiry.
- We do not use advertising trackers. Limited service activity may still be recorded as described above.
How long it is kept

Removal is carried out by a recurring cleanup task that deletes expired and out-of-window records, so the periods above are applied in practice rather than only on paper. Expired session and report content is refused by the service as soon as it expires, even in the short interval before cleanup removes the underlying record. If you want a copy of an available paid report, use its Save as PDF option before it expires; that file stays on your device.
How answers are shown
Your partner receives a shared comparison, not a raw copy of your full answer submission. The shared result can show nicknames, scores, aggregate alignment levels, and generated summaries. Relevant content from both submissions may be processed to create a shared analysis; an individual conversation uses that participant’s relevant content and messages. Safeguards are used to limit reproduction of the other person’s raw answers, but generated content cannot be treated as an absolute technical guarantee. Keep pairing and private report links secret because anyone holding one may be able to use it.
Questions and deletion
We do not maintain user accounts or a long-term personal profile that you can open and edit. Anonymous records may be impossible to link to you after their live window ends. To ask us to review deletion of an identifiable live session or a Feedback submission, use the Feedback button on the Home page and add a way to reply. Do not put answers, a private report link, or a redemption code in the form; after replying, we will ask only for the minimum reference needed to look for the record. Limited purchase, redemption, and operational records may still be retained for the purposes described above.
Children
Do We Match is for adults — 18 or older. If you believe a minor submitted data, use the Feedback button on the Home page and add a way to reply. Do not include answers, private links, or license keys in that first message; we will ask for the minimum information needed to check whether a still-identifiable record can be removed.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the effective date above changes with it. No silent edits.
